This SUV became the second model of the Dorcen brand, whose history began only in 2018. The basis of the new lay Chinese crossover Zotye Domy X5.
Chinese brand Dorcen, created last year by the local energy holding Jiangsu Jintan Changdanghu, brought its latest product to the home market. Recall that the holding belongs to the influential Chinese clan Wu. This family also owns a stake in Zotye. The young brand itself debuted in October 2018 with the Dorcen G70S crossover. Today, the brand began selling its second model on the home market – the front-wheel-drive crossover Dorcen G60, which became a kind of clone of the Zotye Domy X5.
This is a converted version of the model from Zotye and very successful. From the “donor”, the novelty took over the exterior and interior, which the manufacturer did not forget to refine to its liking, as well as the motor range.
In total, the buyers were offered two complete sets of the new budget cross-country. The first gets a 1.6-liter engine with capacity of 116 hp, under the hood of the second hides a 150-horsepower turbo engine and a half liters. Both power units are combined with a five-speed manual transmission. Prices for the Dorcen G60 range from 59,900 to 69,900 yuan
