The network got photos of the new MPV from the German company Volkswagen. The debut of new items under the name Viloran can be organized this year. Whether the model will receive global status is not yet reported.
The fact that Volkswagen is working on a new minivan became known last fall. Then the specialized media circulated the first photos of the camouflaged test prototype of the future news. The pictures were taken in China, which may indicate that the “celestial” car market will become a priority for the model or even the only one. The “fresh” portion of the spy shots turned out to be more informative: we see the name “Viloran” and individual exterior elements, which, thanks to a rather sloppy camouflage, still appear.
By the way, according to preliminary information, the minivan is already produced in China at the facilities of the joint venture VW and SAIC.
The front of the car is made in the spirit of the Volkswagen Touareg crossover: almost the same grille and optics of a similar shape. The horizontal stripes of the lower grille and the plate connecting the taillights to each other are richly coated with chrome, which Chinese motorists love so much.
According to expert forecasts, VW Viloran is based on the MQB platform, and its length reaches 5.1 meters. On the tailgate of the new minivan is the 380TSI nameplate. Under such an index, China knows the two-liter 220-horsepower “turbo four” of the EA888 family. They promise to present a new product this year. According to Chinese media reports, the cost of Viloran will start at 300,000 yuan
