We must disappoint everyone who was looking forward to the 32nd edition of Techno-Classica in Essen. The big world event is canceled.
According to various German media reports, the organizers are forced to cancel the German auto show Techno-Classica, which was supposed to be held from March 25 to 29. We probably do not even need to specify the reason.
On the official website of the exhibition of classic cars there is no information yet. Nevertheless, a website page was created so that visitors could know that the organization was following the development of events related to the coronavirus. According to German media, prospective visitors should not be upset, because the organizers plan to postpone the fair for the summer.
Techno-Classica is one of Europe’s largest events dedicated to classic cars. 12 halls with an area of more than 120,000 square meters turn into a large platform for lovers of old cars. It is not surprising that the event was canceled, as 1,250 different exhibitors from 30 countries demonstrate their “classics” here every year. The auto exhibition attracts more than 190,000 visitors from 46 different countries.
