Mercedes-Benz will sell the museum supercar SLR McLaren

The company Mercedes-Benz put up for sale one of 150 copies of the roadster SLR McLaren 722 S. The rarest supercar in 2009 with a run of 25,800 kilometers was estimated at 1.24 million euros. Currently, the car is exhibited in the stamp museum in Stuttgart.

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 S Roadster – this is the result of cooperation of the German manufacturer and the company McLaren. The supercar is equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 engine with a drive supercharger. The output of the unit is 650 horsepower and 820 Nm of torque.

From the place to the “hundred” SLR McLaren 722 S can accelerate in 3.8 seconds. The maximum speed of a two-door is 335 kilometers per hour.

The salon of the SLR McLaren 722 S for sale is made in black. The finish uses semi-aniline leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber. The list of equipment supercar includes a lowered 10 mm suspension, aerodynamic body parts made of carbon fiber, reinforced brakes and 19-inch wheels.

Even more rare version of SLR McLaren is the debut in 2009 speedster Stirling Moss. Supercar, released in 75 copies, is equipped with the same compressor eight-cylinder engine, as the 722 S Roadster. Because of the special design and use of carbon fiber, the speedster is about 200 kilograms lighter than conventional SLR. Up to 100 km/h it can be accelerat in 3.5 seconds. The maximum speed is 350 kilometers per hour.
