KIA introduced to the Chinese market a new modification of the most budgetary crossover in its KIA KX1 model line. This SUV is built on the basis of the “state employee” KIA Rio. The cost of the KX1 is much more affordable than the same off-road Rio X-Line (Kia KX Cross). Appearance of the novelty was designed in the spirit of KIA Stonic with separate modifications. So, KIA KX1 get: a modified hood, other bumpers, improved DRL and a rectangular gas tank hatch.
Budget items also borrowed certain elements of the interior from Stonic. Changes were made: the front panel, ventilation deflectors, multimedia, steering wheel and climate control unit. In addition, in the interior of the novelty there was a place for color inserts and better finishing materials.
