Well, well, well, what do we have here? Another week, another episode of the Steve Cropley/Matt Prior podcast. And let me tell you, this one had some real gems in it.
First off, they started off with some banter about the new Skoda Octavia iV. Now, I know what you’re thinking – Skoda? Really? But stick with me here. This hybrid version of the Octavia has got them all hot and bothered. With a 1.4-liter petrol engine and an electric motor, it’s got the power and efficiency to make even the most skeptical car enthusiast take a second look.
But of course, the main event of this episode was the discussion of the new Aston Martin V6 sports car. This thing is an absolute game-changer. With a sleek, modern design and a punchy V6 engine, it’s got the looks and the performance to give some of the big boys a run for their money. Steve and Matt were practically drooling over it, and I can’t say I blame them.
They also got into some juicy gossip about the new Mercedes-AMG SL. Apparently, it’s going to be a whole lot different from its predecessors, with a soft top instead of a hard top and a host of other changes. It’s got the purists up in arms, but personally, I think it’s a bold move and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
And as if all that wasn’t enough, they also delved into the topic of electric car range anxiety. It’s a real concern for a lot of people, and Steve and Matt had some interesting insights on the matter. As someone who’s been skeptical of electric cars in the past, I have to admit they made some good points.
All in all, it was another entertaining and informative episode. Steve and Matt’s chemistry is as strong as ever, and I always come away from their podcast feeling like I’ve learned something new. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next week.
