Chinese automaker Chery is in full swing preparing for the premiere of its new Exeed VX crossover, which is due to take place very soon. On Tuesday, April 7, new details about the car became known. The new Exeed VX will be the flagship of the brand in the crossover line – its length will be 4,970 mm with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. Width reaches 1 940 mm, and height 1 795 mm.
From the exterior, it is possible to note the unusual shape of the grille, consisting of four horizontal sections, as well as the side-beam headlights. The developers paid great attention to the salon – it is made in accordance with all requirements for the premium class. Noteworthy is the large screen of an advanced multimedia system, which is combined with a digital dashboard.
To control the climate, a separate sensor unit is designed, and an electronic selector is used as a gear lever.
In the basic version, a 1.6-liter turbo engine with a return of 197 hp is used as a power plant, which works in tandem with a 7-band “robot”. And the maximum equipment of the new Exeed VX will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a return of 255 hp. at 385 Nm of torque. The cost of all trim levels will be announced shortly. According to preliminary data, the most affordable version will cost 175,900 yuan
