Audi E-Tron GT RS Will Receive Three Electric Motors

Audi confirmed the preparation of an RS version of the E-Tron GT a couple of weeks ago. The novelty will be built on the same platform as the Porsche Taycan, while it will receive a sharp design, a more rigid chassis and upgraded brakes.

As a reminder, the flagship Taycan Turbo S is equipped with two 750 hp electric motors. and 1,050 Nm of torque, which allows the model to accelerate to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds and a maximum acceleration of 260 km / h.

While Audi does not publish information on the technical equipment of the E-Tron GT RS, at the same time, AutoExpress, relying on its sources, said that the new product will use three electric motors, one in front and two in the rear. The total power of the electrical units will be about 700 hp. The new model will be able to dial the first “hundred” in about 3 seconds.

The electric motors will be powered by a 95 kWh battery, which will provide a range of up to 250 miles (a little over 400 kilometers). As for the cost of the E-Tron GT RS, it will have to pay at least £ 120,000 in the UK.

In addition, it was recently noted that the German company Audi will equip the e-tron with intelligent matrix headlights. It should be emphasized that this technology will make the new electric cross-country even more secure.
