The new GT Sport variant will lead the French mid-size Peugeot SUV lineup.
Peugeot opens order logs for the Peugeot 3008 and Peugeot 5008 2021. Both of the redesigned French SUVs were unveiled last September, when the PCA said dealers had six months to wait, and now the company says they will be available in the “coming months.”
The five-seat Peugeot 3008, which currently starts at $ 43,990 and the seven-seat Peugeot 5008 starting at $ 51,990, will follow the all-new Peugeot 2008 small SUV starting at $ 34,990 in October.
Like the 2008 model, the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 are front-wheel drive, and both are currently also available with a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine in addition to the base 1.6-liter turbo four petrol. Prices and specifications for the updated crossovers will be announced closer to launch.
PCA has confirmed that it will release a new variant of the 3008, dubbed the GT Sport, with Nappa leather as standard and “cutting edge” 10-speaker sound from premium French audio brand Focal. What’s more, it will be available with a Black Pack, which includes black trims and exclusive black 19-inch Washington diamond-cut alloy wheels with unique Black Mist lacquer.
The 2021 Peugeot 3008 and 5008 will come with the option of a new 10-inch color touchscreen with multi-touch technology, as well as a number of cosmetic enhancements. These include a new frameless grille, high-gloss black side moldings and a painted sill strip in a new front bumper style, as well as full LED taillights with 3D lion’s claw signature, scroll indicators and tinted lenses that extend the black trunk strip to both sides car.
