Ferrari 488 Spider revealed by Novitec Rosso Tuning companyAugust 23, 2016
For most of us Ferrari 488 Spider, the power of 660 hp is more than enough to enjoy the ride and get a quick thrill. But there is a certain category of people to whom this power and is too small and tuning company Novitec Rosso has created their version of the Ferrari 488 Spider for them.
The standard version of the Ferrari 488 Spider is one of the best sports cars in its segment. Ferrari is proud of its 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 661 hp and 760 Nm of torque. The result of these fantastic performance engine is acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, top speed is reaching up to 327 km/h.
The Germans went on. Without changing any internal mechanical components, Novitec Rosso upgraded electronic control unit (ECU) and set a new exhaust system, thus improving engine output to 110 hp to an incredible 772 hp. This modification allowed the engine to improve acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h in 0.2 seconds and now the index is 2.7 seconds and top speed is with 342 km/h.
But power alone does not compensate for simple control by sports car. To cope with the additional “horses” under the hood, Novitec Rosso adorned Ferrari 488 Spider by alloy wheels and tires. The aerodynamic package is made of carbon fiber.
Colours of supercar and interior decoration limited only by the imagination of the owner and the thickness of his wallet. Although this budget is not exactly the first place for those who want to take ownership of tuning Ferrari.
