Employees of the company Fiat in Melfi announced a strike in connection with the transition of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid to Juventus, the transfer of which costs the Italian football club at 105 million euros. This is with reference to its own source reports Football Italia.
The union believes that part of this amount will be provided by the Exor holding company, which includes Fiat and Ferrari. Representatives of the plant noted that multimillion-dollar expenses for the player are unacceptable at a time when ordinary workers are paid late and have huge financial difficulties.
“As long as workers and their families are forced to tighten their belts more and more, the company invests huge sums in one single person. Is it honest when one earns millions, while others can not live up to the middle of the month?”, – The manifesto notes.
The union demands that Fiat primarily take care of its ordinary employees, and only then think about other problems. In this regard, the company Melfi will be declared a strike, which will last from July 15 to 17.
