Volkswagen T-Cross will receive a fully digital dashboard, a large multimedia display and a wireless charging station for smartphones.
Volkswagen has published a video that gives an idea of the interior of the new T-Cross compact crossover. The public premiere of the model will be held on October 25 in Amsterdam, and its European sales will start in early 2019.
Judging by the video, the Volkswagen T-Cross will be available with a fully digital dashboard, an infotainment complex with a large display, a navigator, a wireless charging station for smartphones, and a Beats audio system.
The Volkswagen T-Cross will be based on the modular platform MQB A0, on which, in particular, the sixth generation Polo hatchback is built. The size of the trunk will be 455 liters – the company claims that this is the maximum figure in this segment. And with a fully folded rear row, its volume increases to 1281 liters.
According to preliminary data, the engine range will include three-cylinder supercharged units with a working volume of one liter and 95 and 110 hp. Transmissions – six-speed manual or automatic with two clutches. In addition, the range will include a 150-hp 1.5-liter turbo four, and two 1.6-liter diesel engines with a capacity of 95 and 115 hp.
