We are pleased to announce that German engineers nevertheless set about creating a new generation of the Mercede-Benz CLA Shooting Brake. One can hardly expect an official presentation of the novelty in the coming months, most likely, the Germans will present for the start the regular version of CLA.

After the leadership of the German automotive brand Mercede-Benz decided to stop production of the universal version of the CLS model, many people assumed that the more compact CLA could suffer the same fate.

But it seems that the experiences regarding the Mercedes-Benz CLA were in vain. A couple of hours ago, a series of photographs of German cars appeared at the disposal of our automobile editorial office. Judging by the fact that you can see a pretty camouflaged car on the “spy” pictures, you can conclude that the guys from Mercede-Benz have just started the road tests of the station wagon.

By the way, the largest amount of camouflage was seen on the back of the car. Nevertheless, we can see a sloping roof, and a fairly neat spoiler.

We also want to draw your attention to the rear lights, which, unlike the previous version of the car, have an integral structure – part of the lamp is on the body, and part on the “trunk” door. Previously, the rear lights were completely on the body. We also noticed that the license plate was moved significantly lower — now it is located on the rear bumper.

We also note that the side mirrors, as well as the door handles, are now just below. Although we currently do not have an exact idea of the front of the German novelty, we can well assume that in its design, the wagon headlights are different from the headlights of the new A-class hatchback. On the front bumper are quite large air intakes. It should also be said that there is no Mercedes-Benz company badge on the false radiator grille.

Unfortunately, there are no photos of the German station wagon. But for some reason we have a strong feeling that the interior of the Mercedes-Benz CLA will be largely similar to the interior of the updated A-Class family.

Not so long ago, we wrote that the German automaker Mercedes-Benz officially presented the hybrids of the C- and E-class.
