The Japanese brand is preparing to bring to market a compact SUV of a new generation.
It was assumed that the second generation Juke will be presented in 2017, but the premiere never happened. According to the Japanese edition of Best Car, the new deadline for the debut of the serial crossover is August of this year. It is possible that the prototype model will be shown earlier.
It is expected that the cross will be built on the CMF-B platform, which also underlies the latest Nissan Micra. The new Juke as a whole retains the dimensions of the predecessor, with the wheelbase increased by about 50 mm. In the design of the cross-country exterior, the features of the Nissan Gripz concept presented in 2015 are likely to be traced.
In the Japanese market, a hybrid modification with an e-Power installation may appear in the SUV.
The Nissan Juke crossover of the current generation in Russia is available with a 1.6-liter petrol engine with 117 horsepower. The motor is combined with a variator. We have a Juke can only be bought in front-wheel drive, although in other markets there is also a 4 × 4 version.
Previously, Nissan introduced the conceptual all-terrain Xmotion.
