American atelier Bruiser Conversions has prepared the first tuning for the new generation Jeep Wrangler SUV. The stock engine of the car is proposed to be replaced by a 6.2-liter V8 from Chevrolet Corvette C6 and Camaro SS.
The engine, which will work with an eight-speed automatic transmission, produces 456 horsepower and 576 Nm of torque. From the factory Wrangler can be equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine (285 forces and 353 Nm), a two-liter turbojet (272 and 400 Nm) or a 3.0 V6 diesel engine.
Public debut of the new generation Jeep Wrangler took place in November last year. The model was built on a more solid and light frame, and aluminum was used in the bodywork. For the first time the SUV has already been equipped with a spoiler and 33-inch off-road tires.
Another innovation was the appearance of a “soft” hybrid system – a two-liter 4-cylinder turbo combined with a starter generator with a belt drive and a 48-volt on-board network.
In the salon Jeep Wrangler there was a new instrument panel with a color on-board computer and transmission indicators, and on the central console – four ports for additional equipment.
