The American company will auction the last copies of the Challenger SRT Demon and supercar Viper. The proceeds will go to charity
The company Dodge has released the latest copy of the 850-horsepower extreme wheelchair Challenger SRT Demon. Coupe will be sold at auction paired with the latest supercar Dodge Viper.
The final Dodge Challenger SRT Demon came off the assembly line of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FIA). The coupe is equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 compressor engine, delivering 850 hp. and 1044 Nm of torque. From stand to 100 km / h, the supercar accelerates in 2.3 seconds, making it the most dynamic production car in the world. A total of 3,300 similar machines were produced.
Production of the Dodge Viper stopped in August 2017, but the last copy of the supercar has not yet been sold. The car is completed with 8,4-liter atmospheric motor V10, developing 654 hp and 814 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Supercar can accelerate from place to 100 km / h in three seconds.
The amount of the initial bet on cars is not yet called. For example, the first copy of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat was sold in 2014 at an auction for 1.65 million dollars. At the same time, the American company noted that all money received from the sale will be transferred to the United Way charitable organization.
Earlier it became known that the company Dodge can release a new generation Viper. According to unofficial data, the supercar will appear in 2020 and will receive a design of aluminum and composite materials. The basic versions of the Viper will be equipped with an atmospheric V8 unit with a capacity of about 550 horsepower.
