Porsche has published a video about the most expensive brand cars ever sold at auction. The list includes the participant of the Can-Am 1200-strong 917/30 Spyder series, the road version of the Lemani prototype 911 GT1, as well as the legendary 956th, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1983.
The Porsche 917/30 Spyder was the “cheapest” on the list. The racing prototype with chassis number 917 / 30-004 was sold at auction for three million dollars. The 800-strong Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion with the result of 5,665,000 dollars is in third place.
But the most expensive Porsche was the historic Leman 917 K prototype, equipped with 5.0 V12 with a capacity of 609 horsepower and 563 Nm of torque. This car was sold for 14 million dollars.
