Thailand Stage 2: Alvaro Bautista set the record and won the pole

In superbike finally appeared a worthy opponent to Jonathan Ray. Spanish driver Alvaro Bauista won the 2nd stage qualification in Thailand and set a new lap record on the Buriram track.

Aruba.it Racing Ducati raced the pace to the limit and drove the fastest lap in 1 minute 31.912 seconds, surpassing the previous record by nine-tenths of a second! Ray accelerated just as much, but Bautista correctly lost everything (+0.429 seconds). Alex Lowes qualified for the last place in the first row.
