Smart has revealed its new concept electric car called Forease. The public premiere of a two-seat roadster will be held at the Paris Motor Show in early October. The novelty is based on the EQ ForTwo Cabriolet and is equipped with an 80-hp electric motor.
The dynamic characteristics of the roadster is not yet known. According to AutoExpress, overclocking to 100 km/h will take from Forease about 11.5 seconds. The maximum speed is 130 km / h.
The design of Forease will get the features of the Forspeed and Crossblade prototypes. The car is equipped with LED optics, diffuser, spoiler, 18-inch wheels and three-dimensional lights. The interior of the prototype has two additional displays in place of air vents and an unusual steering wheel resembling an aircraft steering wheel.
The Smart company will become an all-electric brand – after 2020, the German mark will only sell cars equipped with green engines. Smart has already stopped selling petrol-powered cars in North America
