In the spring of this year, European car enthusiasts got access to the new Skoda Scala hatchback. This hatchback clearly embodied the new style of the brand: many design solutions, debuted at Scala, later “migrate” to new models of the brand. Recently it became known that Skoda Scala will receive a “charged” version. This is not a full-fledged RS-modification, but a special upgrade from the tuning studio DTE-Systems.
Tuners have created a special device called “PowerControl Xtuning”, with which you can improve the dynamic performance of Scala.
So, with the new “helper”, the output of the standard liter TSI-engine for 95 hp will increase by 23 hp, and torque – by 35 Nm. In turn, the 115-horsepower engine will be able to produce already 137 hp, the power of the 1.6-liter diesel engine grows by 19 hp “Senior” gasoline turbo engine and a half liters boasts a return of 179 hp instead of 150. With such a power unit under the hood Skoda Scala accelerates to “hundred” in 8.2 seconds.
Equipping a car with a new device will not be difficult. It is known that all will be available three modes of operation: “Sport”, “Dynamics” and “Efficiency”.
