Skoda has declassified a new concept called Vision RS. The public debut of the hatchback will be held at the Paris Motor Show on October 2. The concept car serves to demonstrate the design of future sports models of the brand and is the forerunner of the next generation Rapid. The serial version of the car will compete with the Volkswagen Golf and Ford Focus.
The length of the novelty is 4356 mm. This is 50 mm more than the current Rapid. The volume of the luggage compartment is 440 liters. The size of the wheel bass is 2.6 meters. Low-set headlamps, a large, optimized roof spoiler, rear diffuser and streamlined wheel arches have become distinctive features of the concept car. Also, the car received a digital dashboard large touch screen.
Skoda Vision RS was equipped with a hybrid power plant. It includes a 1.5-liter supercharged turbomachine with a return of 150 hp, as well as an electric motor (102 hp). The total power of the car is 245 hp.

This chassis is already the basis of a number of compact and mid-size cars – from the new Volkswagen Polo to the Skoda Kodiaq crossover. The range of units will include new 1.5-liter petrol turbocharged engines, which, depending on the modification, develop from 125 to 150 horsepower.
