Skoda has published a new video of charged Karoq RS

The company Skoda is in step with the times, and tries first of all to develop the segment of crossovers. For this purpose, a “charged” version of the Karoq RS model was created, the debut of which should take place in the near future.

The network has a new video, which shows just two stars – the charged version of Skoda Karoq RS, as well as the famous car contest participant charismatic Sabina Schmitz. Only yesterday the first teaser of the upcoming top version appeared on the network, and the fans did not have time to cool down, as a video and a series of photos appear on the network. And the car is shown in light camouflage, hiding only minor details.

If you look at the pictures, you might think that the novelty corresponds, as far back as in 2017 in Geneva, to the prototype. And the identity corresponds to even the color of the body and the design of the discs. However, the similarity can be traced only at first glance.

On the front of the car there are black overlays that hide some elements on the bumper. Most likely, there are wide air intakes, providing cooling to the braking system, and their profile is visible through the film.

At the rear, new exhaust sockets are immediately visible, made in a similar style in the Skoda Octavia RS. The rear bumper corresponds to younger versions, however we believe that it will change to the official debut.

Under the hood, probably, will be hiding a two-liter diesel engine with two turbochargers. A similar motor is used on the Volkswagen Passat Bi TDI, where it develops up to 237 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Coupled with the engine will work only seven-speedautomatic transmission with a double clutch.

Also, the company paid attention to the fact that Sabina Schmitz had already tested the car on the Nürburgring ring, and it was her initiative. Now the company does not distribute detailed information about Skoda Kodiaq RS, but more details will be known as early as June 14, 2018.
