The American brand has revealed the design of its new all-terrain vehicle. Public display of the model may take place this spring.
The Chinese unit Jeep published images of the Grand Commander crossover. All-terrain vehicle designed specifically for the Middle Kingdom, its design is based on the concept of Jeep Yuntu, debuted last year.
According to preliminary data, the length of the Jeep Grand Commander is 4,873 mm, width – 1,892 mm, height – 1,738 mm, wheelbase – 2,800 mm. The crossover will be offered in the five- and seven-seat versions.
Jeep said that the all-terrain vehicle will be available with all-wheel drive and a gasoline turbo engine 2.0, which is combined with a nine-speed automatic. The engine’s return does not open. Chinese media suggest that the engine has two options for power – 234 or 265 hp.
It is expected that the commodity SUV will be presented in April 2018 at the Beijing Motor Show, until local dealers get the novelty in the second quarter of this year. Production of Grand Commander will be established in China at the joint venture joint venture FCA and GAC. Jeep plans to sell the novelty outside the Celestial information yet.
