BMW M3 CS can show only the second time in the ranking of the fastest sedans.
German automotive manufacturer BMW has declassified the time of the circle on the legendary Nürburgring test track of its new special version of the charged sedan M3 CS. Sensationally it turned out to be worse than the sedan Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio: 7 minutes 38 seconds against 7 minutes 32 seconds respectively.
The new BMW M3 CS has become lighter, faster and more powerful than the standard M3. Under the hood of the special version CS is a three-liter six-cylinder engine capable of producing 453 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is 3.7 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 280 km / h.
The current BMW M3 CS is the most powerful version in the history of the M3 for the German company. However, she could not be the fastest on the Nordschleife for her class. To complain about the chassis tuning and the handling of the new BMW is not worth it. The Germans know how to set up machines. Not enough motor power.
Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio with 510 strong 2.9-liter V6 engine with double turbo has remained the fastest sedan in the world according to the version of the Nürburgring track. Its time is as much as 6 seconds faster than the BMW M3 CS.
Recall that the novelty of the Germans is limited. In total, 1200 copies of the hardcore sedan will be built.
