Rolls-Royce lived last year without sales of Phantom, and claims success in the global market.
The British manufacturer of luxury cars Rolls-Royce has issued a press release on the results of its activities for 2017. The company managed to sell 3,362 cars in almost 50 countries around the world. This result was achieved despite the absence of the flagship model of Phantom on the market due to the change in its generation.
In 2016, the global sales volume of the Rolls-Royce brand was 4,011 units. Accordingly, the implementation of all the markets last year fell by 16 percent. However, in the company the past 12 months are considered successful. After all, absent limousine Phantom VII had a solid share in the total sales.
According to the press service of Rolls-Royce, the American region remained the key for the manufacturer. At the same time, China demonstrated an increase in sales of brand cars by 40 percent. Also successful was the launch of a special version of the gig Dawn Black Badge. Also announced the main investments in the car assembly plant in Goodwood for the expansion of production capacities for new brand models.
The new generation Phantom limousine was introduced in July 2017. Currently, the production of new items is under way. Deliveries to the first customers begin in the near future.
