The British company showed deserted Cullinan crossover tests, which were held in Dubai. The premiere of the model will take place in the summer of 2018
Rolls-Royce has posted a video on its YouTube channel, which shows the tests of the first crossover of the British brand Cullinan. Tests were held in the desert near Dubai.
The crossover will be built on ultra-light aluminum architecture, which will later form the basis for the remaining future models of the British brand. According to preliminary data, Cullinan will receive an assembly from the new generation Phantom – a 6.75-liter V12 engine with two turbines, delivering 671 hp and 900 Nm of torque. The engine will work together with the eight-speed automatic transmission ZF and all-wheel drive system.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan premiere, which has been under development for the last three years, will take place at a special event in the summer of 2018. Earlier it became known that Rolls-Royce had started the final tests of its first crossover, the coverage of which was entrusted to National Geographic.
The campaign, dubbed the “The Final Challenge”, was launched in early April in the North-Scottish Highlands. Cars should also visit the Austrian Alps, the deserts of the Middle East, and tests in the United States will end.
