The accident of Richard Hammond in Switzerland has become better advertising for the hypermark Rimac Concept One. That day the Croatian firm sold three copies of the two-door. This in an interview with the publication Autocar told the head of sales Rimac Automobili Creso Koric.

“Of course, this could have ended differently,” says Korich. “And then we would have to look for another job.” However, as recognized in the company, everything went well and the company has big plans for the second model – C_Two.

According to Korich, Rimac intends to establish itself as a serious manufacturer of hypercars, and not focus only on the supply of electronic components and equipment to manufacturers such as Koenigsegg and Aston Martin. In this case, there is no question of mass production: the maximum output of each model will not exceed 500 copies, the ideal volume – 80-200 copies.

The electric hypermarket Rimac C_Two is equipped with four electric motors, the total output of which is 1914 horsepower. Each engine is equipped with gearbox: single-stage front, two-stage rear. The battery pack with a capacity of 120 kilowatt-hours is integrated into the structure of carbon-fiber monocoque.

From the place up to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour), the hypercar can accelerate in 1.84 seconds, but not from a place – for this, it must first travel 30.5 centimeters. The maximum speed of C_Two is 412 kilometers per hour. Power reserve – 650 kilometers.
