Renault spoke about another off-road version for Logan and SanderoFebruary 12, 2019
We are talking about the automotive market in Brazil, for this country the automaker is preparing off-road versions of the Logan sedan and Sandero hatchback. Four-door will be presented in the middle of this year. The sedan is almost completely similar to our version of the car, but the hatchback is different in appearance.
A couple of minutes ago, foreign publications published “spy” photos of two French new products – we are talking about off-road versions of the Logan sedan and Sandero hatchback. It is noteworthy that the first of them is very similar to the same version of the car, which is sold on the Russian car market, but the Brazilian version of the hatchback was completely different.
It is reported that the French Renault Logan sedan in the off-road performance of Stepway in Brazil will be equipped with a 1.6-liter SCe engine, which can run on both gasoline and ethanol. The power of this engine will be equal to 118 hp (petrol) and 120 hp (ethanol). As the transmission proposed manual transmission or variator.
Externally, the car is very similar to the Russian version of the sedan. The official presentation is scheduled for the middle of this year. But the off-road version of the hatchback turned out to be somewhat different.
Despite the very dense camouflage, you can see that the car will be significantly different from our version. The differences will relate to the rear lights – they will receive additional sections that will go to the tailgate.
As in our country, the Renault Logan sedan and the Sandero hatchback performed by Stepway will receive a plastic protective body kit around the entire perimeter of the body, as well as slightly increased ground clearance. As for the last parameter, the exact figures are not yet known – our version of the sedan boasts 195 mm, while in the normal version of the model it is 155 mm.
