Renault presented a small electric crossover called K-ZE at the Motorshow in Paris. So far this is only a prototype, but already next year a similar car will be launched in the series. The manufacturer plans to make it available to the widest possible audience.
The electric crossover was developed by e-GT New Energy Automotive Co., a joint venture between the Chinese automaker Dongfeng and Nissan. The car is an electric version of the Kwid model: the name of the car is so deciphered – Kwid Zero Emissions.
Technical characteristics of the prototype are not yet called. In Renault only clarified that without recharging the car will be able to pass about 250 kilometers. It will be possible to charge the car both from the home power supply network, and at special stations.
The car will be equipped with a navigation system, parking sensors, a rear-view camera and various services operating on the web. There is no more detailed information about the novelty.
The first serial version of the Renault K-ZE will receive the Chinese. Then the car will appear in Europe, but there is no exact date for its entry into the EU markets.
