Swiss company Micro Mobility Systems, since the late 1990s producing scooters and scooters, has presented the final prototype of its first car – Microlino. The car, created in the style of the legendary micro-car BMW Isetta, will appear on the European market this spring.
For the first time, Microlino became known three years ago when its first images appeared. In 2016, the first prototype of the car made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, and now the car is shown, which is already 95 percent of the commodity.
The overall length of the micro-car is 2435 millimeters, the width is 1500 millimeters, the capacity of the trunk is 300 liters. The weight of the car reaches 450 kilograms.
Like Isetta, the Microlino has a fully open front section, assembled with the steering wheel, and a narrow gauge with two wheels behind it.
The novelty will be equipped with a 20-strong electric motor and lithium-iron-phosphate batteries, available in two power options – eight and 14.4 kilowatt-hours. The first of them will provide a power reserve of 120 kilometers, the second – 215 kilometers.
From zero to 50 kilometers per hour, the Microlino will be able to accelerate in five seconds. The maximum speed is 90 kilometers per hour.
At the moment the company has collected about 4.6 thousand pre-orders for Microlino. The cost is from 12 thousand euros. Collect the car will be an Italian firm Tazzari.
