Ram 1500 Rebel received an alternative version of the Rebel TRXMay 16, 2019
Foreign tuning studio significantly upgraded pickup Ram 1500 Rebel 2019 model year. Under the hood was a powerful 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat with a supercharged power of 707 horsepower. The original Rebel TRX will go on sale in the third quarter of 2020.
We patiently expected to see the Rebel TRX pick-up truck, ready for production, which is a very powerful version of the American truck. We expect to see this car since the brand introduced this concept almost three years ago as a preliminary presentation of a full-fledged competitor to the “charged” Ford Raptor pickup truck.
The presentation of the Rebel TRX will definitely happen sooner or later. Foreign journalists have already managed to capture the prototypes of the long-awaited novelty – and several test cars were photographed at once. Insiders, in turn, shared with us a lot of details about the supercar. This car will go on sale in the third quarter of 2020.
Forum member 5thGenRams DieselDak was tired of waiting for an American brand and what is called took matters into their own hands. He created his own TRX based on the 1500 Rebel in 2019.
Perhaps the main changes are related to the engine of the car. Now under the hood of a pickup is a powerful 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 with a supercharged power of 707 horsepower. The standard version of the 1500 Rebel truck can have either a 3.6-liter V6 or a 5.7-liter V8 HEMI.
It was not easy to squeeze a large engine into the engine compartment: Mopar tuning company employees contacted the owner of the pickup truck to report that the oil filter had been moved and the fuel system had been significantly upgraded to properly power the engine. The electrical system also needs to be tuned, and it goes without saying that the cooling has been changed so that the V8 is not too hot.
