President of the European, Middle Eastern and African divisions Ford Steven Armstrong has patronized the head of Tesla Elon Musk, comparing the production volumes of the two companies. The top manager on his tweet wrote that the weekly release of Tesla is comparable to several hours of Ford plant operation.
After reaching the planned production volume of Model 3 in five thousand cars a week and a total of seven thousand cars, Mask wrote: “7000 cars, 7 days, the Tesla team.” In response, Armstrong sent the following tweet: “7000 cars, 4 hours, Ford team”.
On the production volume of five thousand Model 3 per week, the American manufacturer of electric cars was able to go out six months after the originally scheduled time. The reason for the delay was the difficulty in setting up the assembly line, and the problems with the supply of the battery assembly line.
7000 cars, circa 4 hours. ❤️Ford Team❤️ https://t.co/FZSclsFoS0
