On the British TV will return competitor Top Gear

The Fifth Gear auto show will return to the air of British television, which was closed two years ago. This is in his tweet, said one of the permanent hosts of the transfer of Tiff Nidell.

According to Nidell, the new season of the “Fifth Program” will be aired in September on QuestTV (owned by Discovery Networks). Together with him in the program will be filmed former co-host Tiffa Jason Plateau.

Tiff Nidell was the host of the Top Gear show since 1987. In 2001, BBC closed the transmission and, along with the entire crew, switched to Channel 5, launching Fifth Gear.

In addition to Plato, the former co-workers of Nidella were also Vicki Butler-Henderson, Johnny Smith, and Tom Ford and Quentin Wilson. Will join the new season, one of them, is still unknown.

On Channel 5, the Fifth Gear show lasted until 2001. From 2012 to 2014, the program went on Discovery, and from 2015 – on the History Channel.
