The British premium sedan will receive a powerful W6 engine producing 626 hp. This fall, Bentley will begin taking orders and begin shipping to customers early next year.

After introducing the new generation of the Continental GT Coupe in 2017 (the cabriolet was shown in 2018), Bentley plans to introduce the latest member of the upgraded family – this is a Flying Spur sedan.

Designed from scratch, the new Flying Spur is aimed at those who want more luxury and grace than what the Audi A8 with its W12 engine can offer and are willing to pay a lot of money for this full-size luxury car.

The new (third in generation) generation of the Flying Spur sedan will be a little longer – 5,304 mm, and the wheelbase is increased by 130 mm to 3 195 mm, which provides a lot of free space in the cabin. On assurances of the guys from the company Bentley, the novelty received a “completely new” design with “muscular” lines running along the entire length of the car.

It goes without saying that the style is largely taken from the current Continental GT and is adapted to the four-door form. Already in the basic configuration, the Flying Spur gets LED matrix headlights and 21-inch wheels.

Under the hood of the British novelty will be a 6.0-liter W12 engine with two turbines, producing 626 horsepower (900 Nm), which will be connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission with double clutch. Even though the car weighs 2,435 kg, it will accelerate to 100 km / h in just 3.8 seconds, and its maximum speed will be 333 km / h. The Bentley Flying Spur sedan will be sportier than ever before, thanks to better weight distribution and full steering – for the first time for the Bentley.

Not so long ago, we wrote that the cost of a hybrid Bentley Bentayga was announced at the Shenzhen Motor Show.
