Nissan Unveils Hybrid Hatchback Note e-Power Nismo SSeptember 28, 2018
The Japanese have a wealth of choice for the hatch, Nissan Note is just off scale. And petrol versions, and hybrid, and sports. And this is not counting the various modifications. To all this diversity, the Nismo sports division of the brand has recently introduced a hybrid sports version of the hatchback.
The appearance of the sports Nismo is no different from the standard, except that the letter “S” was added to the nameplate on the grille and aft. Note e-Power Nismo S was equipped with a new inverter and control unit. The power of the electric motor remained the same – 95 “horses” – however, the peak moment increased to 136 hp and 320 Nm, that is, by 25%. Increased and the impact of the gasoline engine – from 79 to 83 hp
It is worth noting that the e-Power petrol unit of 1.2 liters works only as a generator for recharging the battery. The company said that thanks to the e-Power Note system, it became the leader in the number of registered cars in the first half of this year.
The cost of new items in the local market is 2 641 920 yen. For comparison, the regular version is offered to customers for 2,488,320. Thus, it has become the most expensive option in the line. Implementation outside of Japan is not planned.
