New Toyota Supra May Receive Twin-Turbo V6 From Lexus

Early reports claimed that the Supra would get a four-cylinder plug-in hybrid drivetrain. Probably the new Supra will receive a new Lexus engine. It will be a new engine codename 943F that developing by Lexus. The 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with more than 400 horsepower and more than 300 lb-ft of torque would ultimately make its way into the new Supra. The 943F would be the first forced-induction V6 in Toyota‘s history.

That leads us to this rumor of a twin-turbocharged V6 that will presumably power the new Lexus GS and LS. We would much rather see a turbocharged V6 than some hybrid drivetrain, so we hope this rumor turns out to be true.
