Restyling crossover of American brand Ford Company has acquired a new optional package.
The new Ford Edge debuted in the States in January this year. The crossover has received a new grille, headlights, fog lights and tail lights. In addition, the Edge has a “charged” ST-version with aggressive design and a 335-strong Biturburbot V6 2.7 EcoBoost. Now the manufacturer has declassified SUV with a set of options Titanium Elite, thanks to which the company hopes to attract a more affluent audience to the model.
The crossover with a new package – another front bumper with chrome inserts, 20-inch wheels and LED optics. Inside the Ford Edge Titanium Elite slightly upgraded the center console. The list of equipment includes a panoramic roof, a system for preventing frontal collision, monitoring “blind” zones, holding in the lane, automatic switching of headlights.
Like the standard restyling Edge, the model with the new optional kit is equipped with a gasoline turbo engine 2.0, the output of which is increased to 250 hp (+5 hp compared to the pre-reform SUV). The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Crossover is available with both front and all-wheel drive.
The public premiere of the Edge Titanium Elite will be held later this week at the Chicago Auto Show. In the States, sales of the updated Ford Edge ST SUV start in the summer, at the same time announce prices for all modifications Ford Edge.
European version of the restyling Edge is not yet available, the timing of its debut is unknown. Meanwhile, the pre-reform cross intended for the Europe has its own “luxurious” version – Vignale, in the United States there is none.
