McLaren refused slogan of the tobacco company

At the Australian Grand Prix, McLaren will not use the slogan A Better Tomorrow of the tobacco company British American Tobacco, with which the team entered into a multi-year contract before the start of the season.

According to RaceFans, in Melbourne, on the form of Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris, there are no A Better Tomorrow badges, and other sponsor stickers are placed in their place.

McLaren has not yet commented on the reasons for this decision, but earlier Ferrari refused to place on the car the logos of the Mission Winnow global campaign associated with the Philip Morris International tobacco corporation. It was connected with the investigation of the Australian authorities, who considered Mission Winnow as a hidden tobacco advertisement.
