The McLaren Special Operations (MSO) division presented a special version of the track super hybrid P1 GTR in the livery colors of a racing car, Ayrton Senna. The hypercar from the Ultimate Series line has received updated aerodynamic elements of the body kit and a unique performance of the engine compartment.

The car was made by order of one of the collectors of McLaren, from his early years admiring Haymarket. The body of the super hybrid is painted with a combination of colors of McLaren Rocket Red and Anniversary White, which imitate the livery of the McLaren MP4 / 4 racing. Coupe doors are decorated with the Brazilian flag, the inscription Senna and the slogan Driven to Perfection. Painting and drawing graphic elements took 800 hours from MSO specialists.

The unique P1 GTR was given the name Beco – such a nickname was given by parents to little Ayrton. The superhybrid is equipped with a heat shield, covered with 24-carat gold, the back cover of the Lexan and a modified engine compartment cover. In addition, coupe improved aerodynamics, setting a wider front splitter, Gurney bar, side deflectors and canard. As a result of improvements coupe can generate up to 800 kilograms of downforce.

Inside the McLaren P1 GTR Beco, a steering wheel with Alcantara trim appeared, which was also used on the front panel, and racing lightweight seats designed for Senna. In addition, MSO has made for the client a unique helmet that matches the color of the car.

Information about the modifications of the power plant is not. The regular P1 GTR is equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor, which together give out 1000 horsepower. From places to 100 km/h the supercar accelerates in 2.5 seconds, and its maximum speed is 362 kilometers per hour.
