Inside the huge saloon, nine seats were placed, including the driver’s seat. They are all lined with expensive leather and cloth.
Tuning studio Kahn Design presented at the international auto show in Geneva the next iteration of the six-wheel variant Land Rover Defender – Flying Huntsman 6X6 Civilian Carrier.
The novelty is a closed version of the six-wheel pick-up Flying Huntsman 110, introduced in 2015. The British tuner did not provide information about the used engine for the Civilian Carrier. However, the six-wheel pickup in its top version was equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 LS3 engine from the Chevrolet Corvette and the previous generation Camaro SS. Engine power is 430 horsepower.
Judging by the published photos, the car has a six-speed manual gearbox. Also, the manufacturer reports that in the SUV transmission there are differentials with a lock to increase off-road capability.
Although the Civilian Carrier is based on the Land Rover Defender, it has received many new exterior details. In particular, we are talking about a new radiator grille, LED headlights, modified front fenders with built-in ventilation holes. On the roof there are three glass hatchways at once: one above the driver and the front passenger, and two more over the rear of the cabin.
Production of the special version will be carried out by the division of Chelsea Truck Company, which is part of Kahn Design. At the stand of the studio at the motor show, the prototype still flaunts. However, orders for serial samples are already being accepted. Flying Huntsman 6X6 Civilian Carrier is estimated at 249,995 pounds sterling.
Earlier Land Rover released the final special version of the classic off-road car Defender Works V8.
