Jaguar C-X75 from the Bond film was put up for sale

The British dealer Kaaimans International has put up for sale one of the seven supercars Jaguar C-X75, who participated in the shooting of the James Bond film “007: Spectrum.” On the car, built in honor of the 75th anniversary of the brand, went a negative character – Mr. Hinks.

Conceptual Jaguar C-X75, debuting in 2010 at the Paris Motor Show, was built in collaboration with the team of Formula 1 Williams. The supercar was equipped with a hybrid power plant consisting of four electric motors and two diesel microturbines. The output of the unit was 791 horsepower and 1600 Nm of torque.

A later prototype C-X75 received a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, complete with a compressor and turbocharger, and two electric motors. The total capacity of the installation was about 900 forces. From the place to 100 km/h supercar accelerated in less than three seconds, and the maximum speed of the car exceeded 350 kilometers per hour.

And although in the movie the car was very similar to the concept car, technically they were very different. At the heart of the “Bond” C-X75 is a spatial frame constructed according to the WRC specification. The engine – 550-strong compressor V8 in volume five liters.

In total, to participate in the filming of “007: Spectrum”, Jaguar Land Rover provided 22 cars: seven Jaguar C-X75, four Range Rover Sport SVRs, ten Land Rover Defender and one Discovery Sport.
