Atelier Ares Design, which is led by the former head of Lotus Dany Bahar, presented a coupe based on the sedan Bentley Mulsanne. The presentation of the novelty, which completely altered the rear end of the body and slightly changed the interior, was part of the opening of a new plant in Modena.
Part of the work on the modification of the machine was carried out by German tuners Mcchip-DKR. In particular, they made for the coupe new body panels made of aluminum and carbon fiber. About any refinement of the power unit is not reported.
The Mulsanne sedan is equipped with a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which produces 512 horsepower and 1020 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-band “automatic”. From zero to 100 kilometers per hour the model accelerates in 5.5 seconds. The maximum speed is 296 kilometers per hour.
At the end of January this year Ares Design showed a prototype Project Panther – a modern interpretation of the classic sports car of the 1970s De Tomaso Pantera. The car was built on the chassis Lamborghini Huracan and equipped with retractable headlights in the front fenders.
