A more powerful modification of the “charged” BMW M2 coupe will be called Competition. This is evidenced by a photograph of the car’s instrument panel during the download, published on the forum site Bimmerpost.
According to preliminary information, the rear-drive coupe BMW M2 Competition will be equipped with the same three-liter six-cylinder engine as the usual “charged” second series, but forced from 370 to 410 horsepower. The engine can be paired with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-band robotic transmission.
The usual coupe BMW M2 dials “hundred” in 4.3 seconds. The maximum speed is 270 kilometers per hour. The dynamic characteristics of the hardcore version are not yet reported.
As previously reported, the variant of the Competition will lose its rear row of seats, it will receive more powerful brakes and an aggressive body kit. In addition, in the design of the car will use more carbon, which will help reduce the weight of the model.
It is assumed that the novelty will be released in a limited edition of 1,000 copies. The car will be available for sale this summer.
