Independent designers showed how Hyundai Santa Cruz pickup might look likeMarch 23, 2019
Previously, the leadership of the Korean brand said that the new pickup would not be similar to the previously introduced concept car. Such a “hint” untied the hands of artists, giving them space for creativity.
Another render has appeared on the Web, depicting a new pickup truck from Hyundai – Santa Cruz. The conceptual version of the model debuted back in 2015, but so far the manufacturer has not brought the new product to the series. However, according to experts, the long-awaited pickup will still enter the market. It will not happen before 2020. In the meantime, fans of the brand are wondering what kind of appearance Korean pickup will get.
Recall that last year the manufacturer announced that the serial version of the pickup would not be like its prototype. The exterior and interior of the Hyundai Santa Cruz redesigned to reflect the new style of the brand.
The authors of the render showed that the pickup from Hyundai will retain the expanded cab style in the spirit of the new Palisade, as well as acquire athletic vyshtampovka around the perimeter of the body, “predatory” head optics with the original design, new bumpers and recognizable hexagonal grille. In this case, the creators of the renderer left the pickup without bright contrasting inserts in the exterior. As a platform, the novelty is being crammed with a platform from the new Hyundai Tucson, and under the hood they expect to see a gasoline engine (recall, the concept was wearing a diesel engine). The model was created for the North American car market.
