Hyundai i30 N Fastback was seen at the Nurburgring

The new Hyundai i30 N fastback will be the third representative of the charged South Korean Hyundai N family. The car is currently undergoing the final testing phase, and its world premiere, which is rumored to take place in the coming months, may well pass at the Paris Motor Show in October.

It’s safe to say that Hyundai is very serious about strengthening its high-performance car range – in the near future the brand plans to add another similar car to the already existing i30 N and Veloster N, which will be the Hyundai i30 N fastback.

South Korean charged novelty was seen on the German Nürburgring race track – a series of spy photos got to our editor a couple of hours ago. According to insiders, the car, which, in our opinion, looks more stylish in comparison with the 5-door hatchback Hyundai i30 N, may go on sale early next year.

Despite the fact that the Hyundai i30 N in the backpack body will have a slightly different appearance, it’s safe to say that the novelty will receive the same technical characteristics as the 5-door hatchback.

To accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h fastback will take about 6.1 seconds for the version with a 271-horsepower motor. It is known that buyers will also be offered a modification with a 247-horsepower engine – this is a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with a turbocharger that transmits torque to the front wheels through a 6-speed “mechanics”.

The press service of South Korean Hyundai said that by the end of this decade, the i30 N family will receive an automatic transmission with a 2nd clutch. It would be nice to see the all-wheel drive version, but so far there is not any data about it.

In addition to increasing the number of charged models of the N family, which can be replenished with a crossover Kona N, Hyundai is preparing to introduce N-Line models. Such cars will combine the aggressive appearance of charged cars and the usual technical stuffing.
