Honda NSX and Nissan GT-R compared in the race

Supercars Honda NSX and Nissan GT-R compared in drag racing at a traditional distance of a quarter mile (402 meters). The test was conducted by the British site CarWow. The results are shown in a video posted on the YouTube channel of the publication.

In total, three tests were carried out: a drag race with a start from the rest, a run with a start from 80 kilometers per hour and braking from 113 kilometers per hour. Honda won in two tests.

The Honda NSX Coupe is equipped with a 573-horsepower hybrid power unit based on a 3.5-liter twin-turbo “six”. The car also has three electric motors and a nine-speed automatic transmission with two clutches. First hundred supercar dials in 3.6 seconds. The maximum speed is 307 kilometers per hour.

Nissan GT-R is equipped with a 570-hp six-cylinder 3.8 and a six-speed automatic transmission with two clutches. The car reaches the first hundred kilometers per hour in 2.7 seconds after the start. The maximum speed is 315 kilometers per hour.

Previously, the NSX supercar was also compared in the race with the 190-horsepower Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade. In addition, the publication of CarWow published a video clip with drag racing between the Nissan GT-R and the Mercedes-AMG GT R, the Tesla Model S P100D, the BMW M760Li xDrive, the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S and the Audi RS6, and between the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S and Dacia Logan MCV.
