Honda Announced a forced revocable company, which will affect about 232,000 sedans. This was stated by the press service of the company, and the reason for the forced maintenance of steel rear view cameras.
Rear-view cameras are increasingly becoming the regular equipment of new cars around the world, and in the United States of America they are mandatory at the legislative level. And the manufacturers have already accumulated enough experience in such systems, but still no one is immune to errors. At this time, Honda is forced to recall the 232 sedan due to plant defects affecting the performance of the cameras.
According to representatives of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of America, the screen of the multimedia system can remain completely black, or show tentative bands, but without a video stream.
Apparently, the software is to blame for the problem, so the problem will be solved quickly, and quite painless for the automaker. Of course, all work will be carried out exclusively at the expense of Honda, and the owners of recalled cars will be notified in a separate order.
It is also reported that now there is not a single recorded accident or injury due to a fault. At this time, the review will be conducted in the United States of America, Canada, Germany and South Korea.
Recall that the Honda company is still dealing with a “fiasco” of the company Takata, due to which the Japanese brands have to conduct a review of more than 1.4 million vehicles around the world. The reason was a faulty airbags, and the latest report says it is replaced about 77% of all airbags on cars scheduled for review.
It is worth noting that the fault of the Takata airbags has already killed 22 people.
