GT96 serial version will be presented in 2017

Chinese startup Techrules presented in March supercars AT96 and GT96 TREV at the Geneva Motor Show.

The car company plans to use its new development – turbine charging system (TREV), consisting of a micro-turbine that can generate electricity to recharge the car’s battery and to feed the six-wheel drive motors. According to the startup the equipment will require less battery, thereby expanding the range of an existing vehicle, thus reducing the weight and saving space. Turbogenerator be able to fully charge the battery for 40 minutes.

The company said that the microturbine will make 96,000 turnovers per minute and produce 36 kW of power enough for the healing of a generator and other accessories. Techrules spent testing TREV system, which use natural gas, biogas, diesel, gasoline and jet fuel, with 80 liters of jet fuel can travel more than 2,000 km (1,242 km) in the city.

Beijing Techrules GT96 prototype released in the UK at Silverstone.
