GM’s top manager crashed the most powerful Chevrolet Corvette

Executive Vice President, General Motors Product Development, Mark Reuss, broke the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 car. The incident occurred during the front wheel before the start of the Detroit Grand Prix series IndyCar. This is reported by Autoblog.

In one of the turns, Reuss failed to manage: the car skidded and it crashed into the concrete fence of the road. During the accident, no one was hurt. Because of the details of the sport car kit scattered along the track, the race had to be postponed for 27 minutes.

The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is equipped with a 765-horsepower eight-cylinder 6.2 engine with a mechanical supercharger. The transmission is a seven-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic. The acceleration to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in the coupe takes 2.85 seconds. The maximum speed is 338 kilometers per hour.
