The American SUV received a new stylistic package and a more powerful engine as an option.
The full-size SUV GMC Yukon 2019 model year is now available in the Graphite Edition, which is offered as standard or combined with an optional Performance package. The package contains a set of visual upgrades for the car in the form of new wheels, footboards and badges, and a power increase for an additional fee.
Standard Yukon Graphite Edition is equipped with 22-inch wheels of bright silver with Carbon Flash Metallic inserts, black auxiliary steps with glossy accents, premium black chrome grid inserts in the radiator grille, special framing of the fog lamps, framing of the radiator grille for body color, black roof rails and black moldings.
The choice of the advanced version of Yukon Graphite Performance Edition replaces the V8 in capacity of 5.3 liters for a larger one – 6.2 liters with a capacity of 420 hp and 623 Nm of torque, borrowed from Yukon Denali, combined with a 10-speed automatic and Magnetic Ride Control. The standard equipment of this model also includes: 22-inch black glossy wheels, an eight-inch navigation system with the infotainment system GMC.
Both variants of the SUV – the Yukon Graphite Edition and the Yukon Graphite Performance Edition – are offered in rear- or all-wheel drive versions in standard and extended configuration. Package Graphite Edition offers three exclusive shades: black Onyx, white three-layer Frost and Dark Sky with metallic effect.
The manufacturer does not say anything about the prices, noting only that the package will go on sale later this summer.
By the way, the SUV is quite well sold in the US market, for example, in 2015 42 422 cars were sold, in 2016, 53 447 units already, in 2017 sales were slightly sunk – 49 183 copies, and for five months of this year the sales volume of the model was 14,931 SUVs. For the extended version of Yukon XL, these figures look like this: 31,334, 37,054, 35,059 and 12,619 units, respectively.
Previously, GMC announced the launch of the Black Edition for the Acadia and Terrain SUVs. The premiere of such models was held in the spring at the New York Motor Show.
